Nürburgring
The Nürburgring is a legendary motor racing complex located in western Germany, near the village of Nürburg. It opened in 1927 and is famous for its long, challenging layout through the Eifel mountains.
Its most iconic section, the “Nordschleife” (North Loop), is about 20.8 km (12.9 miles) long and features over 150 turns, earning it the nickname “The Green Hell” from Jackie Stewart due to its difficulty and danger.
Today, the Nürburgring hosts major motorsport events, public driving sessions, and automotive testing, making it one of the most famous race tracks in the world.
